Prototype manufacturing in Budapest from drawings or 3D models

Custom prototype and sample parts made by CNC machining for product development, from our Budapest workshop.

Define the purpose of a prototype before manufacturing: functional testing, checking an interface or preparing the next design revision. Explain which dimensions and properties are essential for your evaluation. If the design will enter series production, discuss material selection and manufacturability during the prototype stage.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions before you request a quote.

What files can you make a prototype from?

A 3D model (for example STEP or IGES) or a technical drawing (PDF, DWG). If you only have a sketch or functional brief, we can discuss preparing a manufacturable design as part of our engineering design service.

Can you make a single part?

Yes, prototype manufacturing usually means one or a few parts. Include the quantity in your enquiry and whether the sample is for a function test, fit check or presentation.

Can you produce a series after the prototype?

Yes, low- or high-volume production can follow an approved sample. It is worth stating the planned batch size at the prototype stage, as it can influence material and process choices.
