CAD–CAM design in Budapest

CAD modelling and CAM machining preparation for CNC components, in Budapest.

A CAD model describes component geometry, while CAM preparation supports the planning of machining operations and toolpaths. Specify which task you need. A program intended for another machine requires a separate review of the machine, control, workholding and delivery requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions before you request a quote.

What is the difference between CAD and CAM?

The CAD model describes the part geometry, while CAM preparation plans the machining operations and toolpaths for the CNC machine.

Can I request a CAM program for my own machine?

This can be discussed. You need to specify the machine type, control, workholding and handover format, as the program depends on them.

What source material do you work from?

An existing 3D model (STEP, IGES), a 2D drawing (DWG, PDF) or a written brief. If you only have a sketch, the modelling scope is agreed in advance.
